Drain repair by sheathing

Repair by sheathing: A modern and effective solution
Lining, also known as jacketing, is an innovative and sustainable technique for rehabilitating damaged pipes.
This process involves inserting a sheath impregnated with a mixture of special resins into the damaged pipes, allowing repair without major excavation.
Unlike traditional methods which require heavy and costly work, sheathing only requires access shafts, generally located at the level of the sewer manholes.

How does sheathing work?

Pre-cleaning : Before any intervention, the pipes are carefully cleaned to ensure perfect adhesion of the sheath.
Inserting the sheath : The resin-impregnated sheath is inserted into the damaged pipe.
Curing : Once in place, the sheath is cured (by hot air, steam or UV), perfectly taking the shape of the existing pipe.
To ensure the success of the liner repair, a preliminary analysis is essential. This includes a video inspection of the pipes, detection of their location and assessment of access. This step ensures that the pipes are suitable for this technique.
The benefits of sheathing
Cost Savings : No digging required, reducing excavation costs.
Speed of execution : The work is carried out in a short time.
Discretion : Less impact on the environment and the surroundings of the construction site.
Reliability : A durable solution with guaranteed performance.
